Good afternoon Members

In light of the recent QLD Government announcements last week, the management team have worked on a considered plan to expand the operation over the coming weeks. We have taken the time to ensure that our approach to the lifting of restrictions is consistent with QLD Health Department & the Office of Liquor & Gaming Regulation.   

We appreciate that you are all eager to return as soon as possible to the good ol’ days of 4 balls and drinks on the terrace with your friends after your round sharing golf’s highs and lows. It is with pleasure that we are pleased to advise of the following expanded operating conditions from Thursday, 21st May 2020. 

GOLF

• Golf Shop Operating from 6.30am – 4.30pm.
• Played in 4’s from Thursday, 21st May.
• Single carts unless you are spouses. Links cart numbers limited, note this may impact availability to play if you require a Links cart. 
• 8 minute intervals in designated competition times. (Tues/Thurs/Sat morning)
• 10 minute intervals outside of this. 
• Last competition time 12.30pm daily. 
• Tee sheet opening: Tues/Thurs/Sat mornings 8 days in advance at 1.30pm. Outside of this, 15 days out at 1.30pm. This has not changed. Please be patient, competition tee times are in demand.
• Waitlist will activate once the sheet is full. Note; requests to change players whilst there is an active waitlist will not be actioned. Players on the waitlist will take priority. This process has not changed. 
• Driving Range 6.30am – 1.45pm (last balls). 
• Links carts returned by 4.30pm. 
• Undercover car park closes at 4.30pm.  
• Serving pies/sausage rolls, sandwiches, chips, chocolates & soft drinks. (Sorry, no alcohol!)

We will be working on amending the tee sheets over the coming days. The sheets will be locked until we have rearranged the pairings and intervals. We seek your patience and understanding whilst we prepare these – it is a very manual job. Your tee time may have have changed and you may be paired with someone you do not usually play with, bear with us we will do our best to accommodate you. Please be sure to check your times.

AMBROSIA CAFE & BAR

• Operating Hours 6am – 2pm from Thursday 21st, May. 
• Maximum 10 persons dining at any one time, whilst exercising the 4sqm distancing. Tables will be positioned accordingly.
• Serving takeaway coffee, select breakfast items to be eaten inside or consumed on course, select lunch items to be eaten inside or can be consumed on course.
• Alcohol can be served when consuming a meal at a table with cutlery.   

DRINKS CART

• Rostered to business level, operating 9am – 1pm. At this stage we are planning Tues/Sat/Sun, however will review based on demand. 
• Serving pies/sausage rolls. sandwiches, chips, chocolates & soft drinks. (Sorry, no alcohol!) 

Over the coming weeks, we will continue to tweak the operation and there maybe further amendments accordingly. We will communicate these in advance through the Members website as we have been. 

We are operating in the best interest of the health of our members, visitors and our staff and request that you continue to adhere to all previous distancing and personal hygiene protocol. We urge you not to be complacent, the continuation of our business relies on your diligence to do the right thing. This is not over yet, the way we operate for the mid to long term future will need to be different. Your understanding and patience over the last 2 months has been greatly appreciated.
